To join Township Fire Department as a Student Firefighter, Firefighter, or First Responder, one only has to stop by TFD’s office/dispatch located at 4601 E. Hamilton Avenue and request an application.

1. Simply fill out the application and return it to the office.
2. Your application will then be reviewed and a background check will be performed.
3. Upon completion of the background check, potential candidates are scheduled for an interview.
4. After the interview a decision will be made and a recommendation will be forwarded to the Township Fire Department Board of Directors for their consideration.
5. Applicants will be notified of the decision.
